Despite a branding makeover, flytools is largely the old project called On-The-Go pack under the hood. But there are some new features and settings you can take advantage of. If you haven't had a chance to try the new repack, start with the ones listed here. We are always refining this pack with new features, we'll add to this list as new features are released.

The apps

The first folder found in the flytools pack is called apps. This one contains a list of useful and small portable programs that enhance the Windows experience.

Some apps included are; Autoruns, Bulk File Changer, CrystalDiskMark, Clipboardic, Dummy, Driver Viewer, Everything, FileTypesMan, HWInfo64, Local Send, MemTest, MP3Tag, Pipette, RegScanner, RuckZuck, Shairport, Tree Size Explorer and many more tools.

You can quickly add all those apps to your start menu by opening _shortcuts folder, copying the folder called Programs Pack and the moving it to your user or windows start menu, there are shortcuts for those paths too.

The binaries

The binaries folder contains a list of curated tools for a enhanced terminal experience. It includes: curl, ffmpeg, git, nano, node, platform-tools, python, pip and yarn.

There is also a file with the variable list so they can be quickly added to the system variables. Just copy the variable list, go to Windows and search for "Environment Variables", and paste the list into "Path".

The extras

There are a lot of interesting stuff in the extras folder. IT contains custom scripts for optimizing the system, cleaning up tempo folders, cleaning up Windows Update, disabling features or change behaviours, etc.

We also always include the lastest version of Microsoft Activation Scripts (MAS).

We recently added custom themes from earlier Windows versions, such as sounds and wallpapers, and we also released Spotlight Downloader which brings Windows Spotlight to any Windows version.

The README

Well, it includes the build number and date of the repack. It also includes a little bit of information about how to use it. Just download it and start enhancing your experience.
