BBJProjeK Mail

Creating an account

To create an email address that ends on @bbjprojek.org, you'll need to be part of the organization and have a signed contract with us. You should get a letter in the first weeks with your username and a first-time password, you'll be prompted to change it.

custom usernames

We don't allow custom usernames for now. If your legal name is "John Cena", is very likely that the team will assign you a email address like this: cena@bbjprojek.org. If the username is already taken, we might provide and alternative one, or ask you directly before setting up your account.

Accessing webmail

To open the BBJProjeK Mail, head to mail.bbjprojek.org. You can sign in directly from the webmail, or add your account to any third-app on your phone or desktop (Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, etc.), below explained. Once you're signed in, open your inbox to check your mail.

tip

If you sign in to a public computer, make sure to sign out before you leave the computer.

Email clients

We recommend the settings below if you use IMAP to read your messages in another email client, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, etc. Your messages and labels are always synced with the email client.

  • BBJProjeK Mail Server: imap.bbjprojek.org
  • IMAP port: 993
  • IMAP security: SSL / TLS
  • IMAP username: Your full email
  • IMAP password: Your password
BBJProjeK users with a personal account

In June 2024, the option to choose 'Enable IMAP' or 'Disable IMAP' won't be available. IMAP access is always turned on in webmail and your current connections to other email clients aren't affected. You don't need to take any action.

Resetting password

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. Your BBJProjeK password is used to access many products, such as BBJProjeK Git, Drive, CDN access, etc.
