With the start of the new year, we took a step forward to open up to new projects and goals. To continue focusing on these new ventures, we will leave behind outdated projects and old software.

With this decision, we say goodbye to Windows 7 as one of the supported operating systems for our hardware and for testing our projects.

What's next now?

It's time to move on and upgrade our software. We've been supporting Windows 7 alongside Windows 10 for more than 3 years (almost from our beginnings) and we've been promoting our upgrade tools to reduce any inconvenience for the user.

As technology continues to advance at an incredible pace, it's essential for us to keep up with the latest innovations and trends. That's why we've made the decision to sunset our support for the usage Windows 7 on our machines and focus on new, more powerful projects.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience for members who are still enjoying Windows 7, but we believe that upgrading to newer operating systems is essential for both security and support reasons. Windows 7 was released more than a decade ago, and since then, there have been significant advancements in technology and security.

By upgrading to Windows 10 or newer, we can benefit from security, improved support for new hardware, and access to new software capabilities that can't be used in older operating systems. In addition to the benefits of upgrading to newer operating systems, we're excited to announce that we're working on some exciting new projects that will revolutionize the way we interact with server content. Our team has been hard at work developing new software and tools that will make daily tasks more efficient and streamlined.

We understand that change can be difficult, but we're confident that our new projects will make a positive impact overall. Our commitment to innovation and progress means that we will continue to stay ahead of the curve and provide our users with the latest and greatest tools to improve their lives.

We encourage our users to upgrade to Windows 10 or newer as soon as possible to take advantage of the latest security and performance enhancements. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to sharing our new projects with you in the near future.

Windows 7 support

We won't be allowing installation of Windows 7 environments as of May 31, 2023. No OEM keys will be provided for it. Legacy releases for some of bbjprojek projects may still be working as expected, but will not receive content update.

If you're still using Windows 7, we strongly recommend you to move to any supported Windows 10 LTSC version we're currently deploying, such as LTSB 2016, LTSC 2019 or LTSC 2021.

Keys for Windows and Office will be available to the user as soon as requested to the team. Don't hesitate to ask for assistance at support@bbjprojek.org. We're help to help you making a step forward
